About

Nicholls & Nicholls was founded to provide bespoke, expert advice and assistance to individuals and companies who are subject to police investigations, prosecutions, regulatory issues or disputes in Construction that require resolution.

We also offer specialist training and workshops to businesses looking to educate staff and management regarding the liabilities and responsibilities placed upon them by Government bodies and the implications of failing to comply with these regulations intentionally or recklessly.

Lucinda Nicholls, founder of the firm, recognises the need to deliver excellence and quality to clients facing difficult situations and has built these into the values of Nicholls & Nicholls.  She ensures that those who retain the services of this firm always have the best of care and expertise.

Investigations could occur from numerous organisations. You may face allegations from the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), The National Crime Agency (NCA), The Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Trading Standards, The Department of Business Innovation & Skills (BIS), the Traffic Commissioner, The Environment Agency, the Metropolitan Police and many others including specialist units in these organisations.

From a regulatory perspective, you may face allegations from some of the above, but also face proceedings before your professional body such as the General Medical Council (GMC), Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL), the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), General Dental Council (GDC). There are numerous other professional bodies that all take action against their members if there are suggestions of misconduct or malpractice. Nicholls & Nicholls can provide advice and representation at these hearings whatever the allegation and utilise the specialisms of an expert panel of barristers for the most serious of allegations if required.

Nicholls & Nicholls can advise and represent throughout all stages of an investigation and proceedings vigorously. We scrutinise the evidence and provide comprehensive advice taking into account the needs of every client whether an individual or a business.

We also assist businesses when dealing with Construction Disputes as and when they arise.  A single dispute may only last a short period of time before resolution but there may be a large number of disputes over the lifespan of a contract. We can assist throughout the entirety.

We have provided advice to multi-million pound companies on potential Health and Safety Breaches to professionals accused of football related violence to individuals accused of being drunk and disorderly and murder. Each situation is always different and each situation requires a particular standard of care and expertise. Nicholls & Nicholls have the skills to provide high calibre advice and representation in any circumstance and should be your first port of call when help is needed.
