Sydney is with Nicholls & Nicholls as a paralegal before she begins pupillage at a barrister chambers in the city of London, in 2026. She holds an LLB in Law and Criminology from Cardiff University and went on to complete the Bar Training Course, the professional qualification required to practise as a barrister. She was awarded a Scholarship of Excellence on conclusion of these studies.
Before joining Nicholls & Nicholls, she returned to London to grow her knowledge and experience in the law firm environment covering criminal and mental health law. She also worked with several barrister chambers gaining valuable advocacy knowledge to use in her future pathway. This time allowed her to gain invaluable experience working at the fast pace found within the criminal justice system.
From attending police stations and courts around London and beyond, to liaising with experts, tribunals, and senior members of the legal profession, Sydney has very quickly adapted to the approach needed to help the Nicholls & Nicholls clientele with tenacity and resilience. Numerous barristers and clerks have commented on Sydney’s ability to build a strong rapport with her clients, and ensuring their interests are protected to the highest level. Since joining the firm, Sydney is already working on several high-profile matters that have reached national newspapers; some of these with international interest.
