Sandra brings close to a decade of experience working in law. Her experience has ranged across three main areas of law; immigration, family, and criminal litigation. She has excelled in her fields, which is how she now finds herself joining Nicholls & Nicholls as Head of two significant departments, immigration and family.

Family Law 

With her caring approach and understanding of the need for detail in her written submissions in family proceedings, Sandra has become a recognised solicitor in the industry by peers and experts, along with glowing reviews from her clients too. She works primarily in child arrangement order cases, undertaking the advocacy personally, and also engaging and instructing barristers in the highest ranked chambers in the country to assist. Sandra not only makes clients feel listened to and engaged in the process, but she also makes sure her clients know their options, and what the likely outcomes are with their individual case, something every parent needs to know when going through highly traumatic circumstances. 

She also frequently receives instructions relating to non-molestation orders. She not only represents applicants seeking protection of the law for domestic violence matters at home, but also regularly appears before the courts defending these applications.  Sandra is regularly before the District Judges of London making these applications and defending them. Immigration Law

For businesses, Sandra regularly works securing and maintaining sponsor licenses, renewal of visas of staff and general corporate immigration. It is extremely common for British businesses and government bodies to hire overseas talent. Since Brexit however, the changes in legal requirements in January 2021, have made the process significantly more complicated. Certain EEA nationals are now required to obtain a visa to work in the UK, having to be sponsored by registered companies. Sandra provides legal services for these applications in drafting and submitting them; including succinct, knowledgeable advice with the assistance of the Nicholls & Nicholls team. 

Criminal Law

Sandra receives instructions from international clients regarding criminal issues covering outstanding warrants from the UK, cash seizures and border force, home office investigations regarding alleged sham marriages, and offences with multi-jurisdictional issues. She is highly regarded by top law firms in several countries as the go to lawyer to solve their citizen’s legal issues in the UK.
